What does included standard towing cover?
When we agree to purchase a complete vehicle, standard towing from your North Delta home is part of the deal. Complete means the vehicle still has its engine, transmission, wheels and main body parts, even if it does not run. Standard towing means a collection where the truck can reach the vehicle and load it using normal equipment, for example from a driveway, carport or residential parking space with reasonable access. North Delta pickup areas.
You do not pay a separate towing fee, a fuel surcharge or a distance charge for that collection, and the cost of the tow is not quietly deducted from the agreed offer on the day. The cash amount Jay confirms with you already takes the standard tow into account. That is what we mean by free scrap car towing: no tow bill and no reduction to the agreed price because of it.
What gets assessed before we book?
Two situations are discussed up front. The first is an incomplete vehicle. If the engine, transmission, wheels or other major parts have been removed, the vehicle is valued differently and loading it may need a different approach. Tell Jay what is missing during the first call so the offer and the towing arrangement reflect it. Long-parked vehicle recovery.
The second is a special recovery. That covers vehicles that cannot be reached or loaded in the usual way: one wedged between structures, sitting on soft ground, without wheels, or otherwise needing extra equipment or time. These situations are not refused automatically. They are assessed before booking so you know whether the collection can go ahead and on what terms before anyone travels to you.
If the assessment shows the vehicle cannot be collected as a standard tow, Jay will tell you plainly. You then decide whether to proceed on the terms discussed or not at all. You are never asked to accept a new condition after the truck has arrived.
Why are there no add-on fees at arrival?
The cash offer and towing terms are confirmed together before booking. Missing parts, vehicle condition and special recovery needs are discussed at that stage, so you know what the collection includes. Once agreed, the offer is firm and there are no extra arrival charges.
Tell Jay before the appointment if anything about the vehicle or access changes. Those details can be addressed ahead of the visit, not negotiated in your driveway. There are no add-on call-out, waiting or towing fees at arrival.
What counts as reasonable access for a standard tow?
In practice, reasonable access means the truck can park close enough to the vehicle and pull or lift it without extra equipment or significant extra time. A vehicle in an ordinary driveway or a residential parking space with room to approach usually fits that description, even if it does not run, provided it is complete and its wheels turn or can be managed with standard gear.
Many awkward-sounding situations turn out to be standard once they are described. A car parked tight to a fence, a vehicle with one flat tire, or a driveway shared with other cars are frequently handled as normal collections with a little planning. That is why we ask for the details instead of guessing. Describe the position, the surface and anything nearby, and send a photo by text if it helps. Jay will then tell you clearly whether the tow is included as standard, so there is no doubt before you book.
